Industrialization

I would like to welcome to Ms. Helton’s Industrialization Lounge Museum.  Sit back and take a tour into our rich history of the Industrialization Movement.  The theme of the museum is “When Monopoly Wasn’t Game”.

You will begin learning of the rich history of the United States after traveling through Ms. Helton’s Industrialization Lounge Museum.  It is a story of America from the 19th century.  You will learn how America became the most powerful nation in the world.  As you go through the museum and read about and see pictures of America in the past, you will find it easier to understand the events that are happening today.  You will also gain a better understanding about our nation and the trails and tribulation encountered by Americans in the late 19th century and the early 20th century.

You will also learn about businessmen such as Andrew Carnegie and John D. Rockefeller, who became extremely wealthy from their factories’ earnings.  You will read about workers who lived in overcrowded apartment buildings called tenements and child labor.
